Nelson's prayer before The Battle of Trafalgar

Lord Nelson's famous prayer,
written just before The Battle of Trafalgar.

He asked that he would find victory in battle not only for England but the benefit of Europe as well and that all crew would act in an honourable way. It could be said that Nelson was ahead of his time in seeing himself as a European. He placed his trust in his faith and prayed for help in serving his country.
