A lighthearted look at uniforms

Take a look at this really super set of 6 postcards with caricatures of the men and their Naval Uniform of around 1812. The details on the uniforms are very accurate.

The pictures were painted by Doggy who is, in fact, a very well respected military historian and artist. He uses the name 'Doggy' when he creates this sort of work to keep it separate from his other formal paintings. He has very kindly allowed us to show these images here.

This set of cards would make a great gift for someone or simply to add to your own collection. The cards are sold by http://policegifts.co.uk and if you'd like to find out about how to buy a set then you can email from here.
